Six years later, I’m still calculating PointsPlus values for Kitchen Parade and A Veggie Venture and now, since late 2015, SmartPoints as well. With any luck, I’ll be done by the time WW decides to re-do the points system again in 2020. YIKES, time flies! Good luck with your point-counting, so nice to be able to collaborate with your husband. With your experience, I’m betting the pounds will fly off and you’ll soon be back on track. Alanna Kellogghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12869948243694610558noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2668026140203443330.post-29607391063514990572016-09-26T19:32:18.957-05:002016-09-26T19:32:18.957-05:00I have been a member of WW since 1980 and as a lif...I have been a member of WW since 1980 and as a lifetime member know that it works. Hubby and I are both lifers so makes it easy to do it together. We have had our ups and downs and right now I am a few pounds up not bad. He has gained back about 24lbs but men lose really fast. So today we started to write down everything and we do the program at home. If you cheat you only cheat yourself. After Oprah took over a part of the business I really do not want to give my money to WW any longer and that's my opinion. So we will do it again I know we will we did it before. So love the fact you post the Points plus so I am picking some recipe's and adding them to my Pinterest boards. So thanks for your help here.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12399879319940799487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2668026140203443330.post-41922806927505493822011-03-14T22:33:16.434-05:002011-03-14T22:33:16.434-05:00When I started following Weight Watchers Plus I wa...When I started following Weight Watchers Plus I was 191 lbs and had 29 points. I am down 9.6 lbs in 6 weeks. Where can I find out my allowable points at the weight I am now? Live too far away to attend weight watcher meetings so I am just following the weight watchers Plus cookbook and my food scale. I am on my last 4 pounds now, I catch myself eating more veggies, and fruit now for in between snack. I asked the question at WW meeting,"What if I can't eat all my 29 points". I was told that they really want you to eat them, but if you are satisfied, and full, that is ok. But if your eating way to low of points, they will go over your journal eating plans and see maybe change something to add more points. I walk and do in home walking tapes, love them, it keeps you moving at least 30 min. aday. I don't eat the extra points for the week or my excersie points, don't have to, but why use them if your trying to lose weight. :). Found this Kitchen Parade on accident, I love this webiste. This is a Great support for me for trying to find WW lost recipes. I'm a LT, and had gained about 10 lbs and have been PAYING!!! The new plan has been a real gift and the fact that fruit is zero points means no more banana guilt. Sounds silly, but it was there. I'm glad that WW has revamped the program to cleaner, healthier eating.Marianoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2668026140203443330.post-54118771204438375022010-12-03T07:37:15.661-06:002010-12-03T07:37:15.661-06:00I'm a WW closing in on my goal weight and now ...I'm a WW closing in on my goal weight and now have 29-points rather than 18. From what I've seen so far, for those of us that did not eat a lot of processed or low-fiber foods not much changes. In fact, I think it will be difficult for me to reach the 29 threshold every day. For example, for lunch I usually eat 8 oz. of fat-free plain yogurt and an apple or other fruit. This used to be 2 pts yogurt, 1 pt apple. Now it 3 pts yogurt, 0 pts apple. But, I do like the changes because they are healthier overall.

I use lots of recipes from this site and will be making Mom's Blueberry Coffee Cake again on Saturday for WW dinner guests!

Susan
Just north of Boston, MAAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2668026140203443330.post-10427288054582464402010-12-02T12:43:45.712-06:002010-12-02T12:43:45.712-06:00Lori ~ I had that same issue yesterday, it was har...Lori ~ I had that same issue yesterday, it was hard to actually eat enough points. I was doing so well on the old one. I love that fruits are free. So far today I've had an orange, a banana and a yogurt- only 2 points! I guess the problem will be to make sure I'm following all of the other guidelines and making sure I eat enough points for the day. It's a big transition!RecipeGirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03387369904765600870noreply@blogger.com
