My Best & Favorite One-Pot Supper Recipes

My Best & Favorite One-Pot Supper Recipes

One-Pot Meals. One-Pot Dinners. One-Pot Suppers. Whatever you call the recipes that move from stove to table or stove to oven to table, combining protein and vegetables and/or a starch in a single pot, they are a busy cook's best friends! I've collected one-pot recipes for years, without really thinking actually, they're just my style of cooking. But now I've collected my "best and favorite" one-pot suppers recipes all in one place.

ABOUT THE RED POT For 15 years, 90 percent of my supper cooking has been done in one of two Dutch ovens, one inherited from my mother and a non-stick Dutch oven from Berndes. But this year, for one-pot meals, my loyalty is switching from a Dutch oven to a flame-red LeCreuset braising pan. The broad heavy-gauge bottom sears meat and roasts vegetables so perfectly. It keeps food hot and looks pretty on the stove and on the table. The one I cook from the most is big enough for a family but also works when cooking for two plus leftovers. It's not inexpensive but just might be a good holiday gift for your favorite cook.
Enjoy! ~ Alanna

Thank you for taking a moment to write! I read each and every comment, for each and every recipe. If you have a specific question, it's nearly always answered quick-quick. But I also love hearing your reactions, your curiosity, even your concerns! When you've made a recipe, I especially love to know how it turned out, what variations you made, what you'll do differently the next time. ~ Alanna
