Prepare to welcome the New Year, a collection of holiday and post-holiday recipes and ideas. Happy New Year's to All!

Lucky! Black-Eyed Peas

For New Year's, adopt the traditional foods of the American South, black-eyed peas to deliver good fortune in the new year. Two recipe ideas here! The first is a quick black-eyed pea salad that's packed with vegetables and fresh herbs, delivering "good health" along with good fortune. The second is a body-warming black-eyed pea soup, quick to make and packed with greens and nutrients. Happy New Year to All! Fresh & Seasonal, Traditional at New Year's to Bring Good Luck. Gingerbread Granola

A special granola just for the holidays: scented with orange and molasses; sweetened with captivating gingerbread spices like cardamom, star anise, nutmeg and cloves – and just a tiny pinch of white pepper. This is no ordinary granola, it's Christmas granola! A Christmas Take on Granola, Fresh & Seasonal. Lower Sugar, Bigger Flavor. Not just vegan, Vegan Done Real . Naturally Gluten Free. Seasonal Sundays (Week 50 Mid December)

Cranberry Walnut Bread

Special for the holidays, a European-style, barely sweet yeast bread studded with dried cranberries and toasted walnuts for Christmas. My recipe makes three loaves (one for yourself, one for a food gift or one for the freezer, perhaps?) or two loaves plus dinner-size rolls with a slightly chewy crust and a good crumb. It's my take on the seasonal cherry walnut bread from the bakery Great Harvest. Fresh & Seasonal. Makes Excellent Toast!
